About the Role

Forward Deployed AI Strategists are the hybrid role at PromptPartner. You embed with enterprise clients, and you’re the single thread from the first client conversation to the system running in production.

This is a role for people who think like strategists and operators. You sit across the table from both a CFO and a junior controller, diagnose what’s actually broken in their operation, and then translate that into a clear brief that our engineers can build against. You don’t need to write the code — you need to know what to build, why it matters, and how to land it with the client.

And you’re not here only to think — you’re here to execute. You run the discovery, you chase the answers, you hold the briefs to the standard engineers can build against, and you see the engagement through to handoff. You need to be the person in the room who reframes the problem, asks the question no one else thought to ask, and earns the right to a follow-on engagement.

Our core product is the assessment: four weeks on the client’s real stack, a working system, and a scored ROI roadmap — a euro figure they can defend line by line. The build follows, and the client owns what we ship. You are the person who makes both halves feel inevitable.

What You’ll Do

Embed with the client. Sit with leadership and operations teams to understand the business from the ground up, map workflows, and identify where AI can create the most value.
Run discovery engagements. Interviews, process mapping, hypothesis-driven analysis, executive readouts — done with discipline, on a four-week clock.
Put a euro figure on it. Score opportunities against real work and produce an ROI roadmap the client can defend line by line. This is the proof that unlocks the build.
Translate into build-ready specs. Turn ambiguous business problems into concrete specs that our engineering team can build against — and hold them to that standard.
Own engagements end to end. From the first conversation to the handoff of a running system the client owns.
Present to the top of the house. Present findings, frameworks, and recommendations directly to senior stakeholders, and defend them under pressure.
Feed the platform. What you learn in the field goes back into PromptPartner’s playbooks, patterns, and platform.

What We’re Looking For

A track record of solving hard, ambiguous problems for senior stakeholders — in consulting, as a founder, or inside an enterprise — where you also had to build what you recommended.
Execution focus. Strategy without delivery is a deck. You follow through: you chase the data, you close the gaps, you see the work land.
First-principles thinking. You don’t reach for the framework or the template — you reason from the actual business problem in front of you.
Client presence. You can hold a room of senior stakeholders, present findings clearly, and handle pushback without losing the room.
Founder or operator instincts. You’ve built something, run something, or owned a part of a P&L — and you know what it feels like when the work actually has to ship.
Strong commercial sense. You understand where the value is, who’s paying for it, and what a successful engagement looks like from the client’s side of the table.
AI-native. You use AI tools every day, you’ve followed the space closely, and you have a real point of view on where agents work, where they don’t, and what’s coming next. You can scope an AI implementation and communicate clearly with engineers about what to build.
Full ownership. You run your engagements end to end with minimal oversight, and you’re accountable for what the engagement achieves.
Remote anywhere in Europe. Comfortable with occasional client travel.

Helpful Experience

Consulting or strategy experience at a top-tier or boutique firm, especially with a digital, AI, or operations focus
Client-facing experience owning relationships with senior stakeholders and running engagements
Founder or early-employee experience at a startup, especially one that sold into the enterprise
Experience leading transformation or operations work inside a large enterprise — finance, ops, or strategy functions
Hands-on experience deploying AI tools in a real business context, even if you weren’t the one writing the code
